Eid Al Adha represents one of the most spiritual times of the year for Muslims who observe the days of Dhul Hijjah. Qurbani, Uddhiya or sacrifice is regarded as obligatory upon adult Muslims with the produce being shared amongst the poor or destitute.

Eid Al Adha is one of the few times a year those living in difficult situations will have access to fresh protein. This year we will be distributing your Qurbani donations to isolated and malnourished communities in East Africa. Due to the expense of meat, aid agencies do not include meat as part of food packs, but during this time of year, we strive to help communities celebrate Eid the way they want, by doing something as little as ensuring families have enough to eat, including enough meat for their families.
