David Goggins is a former Navy SEAL who has inspired people all around the world, myself included, to build mental toughness and challenge themselves beyond their perceived limitations. From running a 100 mile race having barely run in a year and doing over 4000 pull-ups within 24 hours, to duct taping his ankles so he could run on broken bones, he's pretty badass. Since discovering his philosophy I've done 3 DIY marathons as well as the 4x4x48 challenge in 2022. This year, I'm fundraising for Restless Beings' work to support people in Turkey and Syria affected by the recent earthquake. Restless Beings are a charity I have been fundraising for since 2011, when I first got into running. I had the pleasure of getting to know the founders and their team years ago, and continue to be inspired by their tireless work, helping people all around the world who desperately need basic support like food, shelter, and protection from war and violence.
